This Cookie Policy explains the limited cookies and browser storage that InTech Ideas, LLC (“InTech Ideas,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses on intechideas.ai and intechideas.com (collectively, the “Sites”), and the choices you have.
Cookies are small text files stored on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognize your device and remember certain information about your visit — for example, your preferences or login status. Cookies may be “session” cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or “persistent” cookies (stored on your device for a set period).
InTech Ideas takes a privacy-first approach to our website. We have intentionally chosen tools and technologies that minimize or eliminate the use of cookies and visitor tracking.
As a result, visiting the Sites does not place tracking cookies on your device. The Sites use limited browser storage for two things: a marker that lets the chat assistant recognize a returning browser, and campaign tags from the link you used to reach the Sites. Both are described below.
Our content management system may set a session cookie for authenticated administrators only. This cookie is not set for regular visitors and is used solely to maintain login sessions for site administration.
The chat assistant may store a small, browser-local marker so it can greet returning visitors. This does not use cookies, does not identify you across devices or browsers, does not store your name or contact information, and expires after 180 days.
If the link you used to reach the Sites includes campaign tags (such as utm_source, utm_medium, or utm_campaign), we keep those tags in your browser's session storage during your visit. When you submit a form, the source, medium, and campaign are included in the analytics event we record, so we can see which campaigns lead to inquiries. Session storage does not use cookies, is not shared with other websites, and is cleared when you close the browser tab.
We do not currently use any third-party services that set cookies on visitor devices. If this changes in the future, we will update this Policy and provide appropriate notice.
Because we do not set tracking cookies on visitors and use browser storage only as described above, no opt-out or consent mechanism is required for general browsing. You can still manage cookies and browser storage at any time by:
Please note that disabling all cookies may affect the functionality of some websites you visit. Clearing site data for the Sites resets the chat assistant's returning-visitor greeting and removes any stored campaign tags.
Some browsers include a “Do Not Track” (DNT) feature. We currently do not alter our data collection and use practices in response to DNT signals, as there is no uniform industry standard for recognizing DNT requests. We will revisit this position as standards evolve.
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
